As part of its 5 YEAR PLAN, the Club is trying to encourage the more widespread use of Irish throughout the Club. At present we use it on headed letter paper, logos, team sheets, welcoming people to meetings and functions. Those who promote its use within the Club, particularly the Club Officers, are leading the way.
We feel that with a little more awareness and effort we can improve on this and extend its use throughout the Club’s various activities. This can be very informal, whereby members would make use of the Irish they have already and also look to our WEB PAGE for help. In order for members to feel more comfortable we are posting key phrases and vocabulary which can be accessed as the need arises. We would encourage you to try it out. You probably know more Irish than you think!
