U12 Boys Gaelic Football

Kilmeena V Ballintubber  – Saturday 11th July, 2015.

This was a rescheduled game; previously postponed from late June. The game was played in Ballintubber, in weather conditions which were very wet and breezy.

The game itself can only be described as a ‘complete mismatch’; with Kilmeena coming out on the wrong end of this encounter. Ballintubber fielded a team that are (frankly) ‘in a different league’ to that of Kilmeena. It is fair to say, that neither team gained anything of merit in terms of player development, from this encounter. 

In spite of the challenge facing them, the Kilmeena boys battled all the way to the final whistle and for this, they must be commended.

Final Score:   Kilmeena; 2 - 3,   Ballintubber; 9 – 6.

Well done to Ballintubber on their win.
