The Kilmeena U12 Girls played Carnacon this evening Monday 06 of July.

The Captain for this game was Sinead Mulchrone, who has never missed a game or training session since we started this year. Kilmeena started the game well but the visitors managed to get early goals which meant the girls were chasing the game from early on. In fairness to each and every one of them, they put in a huge effort to close the gap. As the game went on Kilmeena were getting the better of the their markers,but our conversion rate was not with us on the night, overall a great display of football by both teams with the visitors winning by just one point, well done Carnacon.

A big thank you to Michelle McGing of Carnacon and Mayo, who came into our dressing after the game and gave us tremendous words of encouragement which was much appreciated by the players and management.

Training will take place Wednesday evening @6.00 we would encourage all u12 to attend.    

Well done to all the Players, Management & Parents Support.

Our Final game of this competition is away to Davitts on Monday 13th of July, please come out and support our u12 girls.
