Final Score Niamh Padraig 7-06, Kilmeena 3-10.

Kilmeena U16 boys suffered their first league defeat away to Niamh Padraig on Sunday last.  Kilmeena were slow out of the blocks and conceded two early sloppy goals.  Kilmeena were dealt a further blow when centre back Ronan O’ Donnell was harshly black carded but however, settled into the game to trail at half time by 2-04 to 0-5.  Kilmeena conceded further goals early in the second half to leave them chasing the game but rallied for 15mins to reduce Niamh Padraig’s lead to 4points.  2 late goals by Niamh Padraig settled the contest.
