Coaching Course

The Venue for the FUNdamentals Coaching course which is being held

this Saturday 25th May from 10am to 4pm is Scoil Phadraig, Westport.

The cost per person is €30.00.

This course is an introductory to coaching programme. Coaches/mentors will look at

issues such as planning and implementing training programmes as well as

practical coaching and introduction to the player pathway.

Memorial Tournament

The annual Paddy Golden memorial tournament will be hosted by the Kilmeena

GAA club on Saturday, June 15, commencing at 10am.

This is an under 10 competition, and is confined to the twelve West Mayo

clubs. It will be graded with A, B and C finals.

The late Paddy Golden was a stalwart in Kilmeena GAA club for

many years. His family continue to be involved at local and county level.

 

 


Kilmeena Under 8 and Under 10 boys play Louisburgh on Saturday, May 25 at

1 o'clock in Kilmeena.

Your support would be greatly appreciated for these underage games.

 


 

Kilmeena Ladies under 12 match against Burrishoole is cancelled this evening Monday 20th May.

 

All girls to meet at Kilmeena GAA pitch this evening for a training session 6pm-7pm.

 


 

KILMEENA LADIES AND UNDER AGE BOYS TRAINING

Following a meeting on Wednesday, May 15, it was decided that Kilmeena girls will no longer train on Thursday. The under 12 and under 14  girls  will now train on Saturdays commencing on Saturday, May 25 at 5pm. This will run in conjunction with the G4G (Gaelic 4 Girls) programme which is currently taking place also on Saturday at 5pm.
Kilmeena Under 8 and 10 girls will train on Wednesday from 6pm-7pm. Underage boys will continue to train on Thursday evenings starting at the earlier time of 5:45pm – 6:45pm. These changes are necessary to develop our boys and girls to their full potential and also to accommodate the large numbers now attending Kilmeena GAA pitch.

 

 


Lotto

 

There was no winner of the Kilmeena GAA Lotto draw made in The Spinning Wheel on 9 May 2013. The numbers drawn were;

4, 5, 20, 32

The €20 prize draw winners were; Paddy O’Grady, Noel McManamon, Mary Golden, Paul Feehan and Martin Corcoran.

The next draw will take place in The Buckfield Inn on 16 May 2013. The jackpot will be;

€8,400
