Congratulations to the Kilmeena under 12 girls, who recorded their second win in Round 7 of the U-12 grading league last night in Breaffy. The final score line read 5-04 to 2-05 in favour of Kilmeena.

It was a great team effort by all 21 girls that produced this result. Breaffy started the stronger winning the first two quarters. However, the Kilmeena girls never gave up and played their best football in the third quarter scoring 3 goals and 2 points. Ciara Joyce put in a superb Captains performance, leading her team from start to finish. Mollie Keane helped tighten up the Kilmeena defence when introduced in the third quarter while Megan Mulchrone made a welcome return after being out injured for a number of weeks.
