Good luck to Ciara Joyce and all the Mayo U14 girls who compete in the Connacht B Final v Sligo on Sunday 7th May at 4:30pm in Swinford from all at Kilmeena LGFA

                                 Carnacon  7 -6    Kilmeena 1 -7

                                                  League R1

This was our second outing this year of R1 League game Kilmeena U16 Girls hosted visiting team Carnacon this evening, with a cold northly wind blowing cross field made for freezing conditions but in fairness both teams they put on a competitive and intertaining performace.

In the first half Carnacon proved to be more clinical in front of goal which allowed them to build a good platform.

But the Kilmeena Girls did not give up and faught bravely and kept plugging away right to the end, executing some excellent scores.

Aided by some postional changes in the second half Kilmeena competed far better, with some fantastic individual efforts by Chloe McGing, Katie Hogan, Ciara Joyce, Susannah Horgan who scored a penallty on the rebound & Shannon Burke who had a goal disallowed.

Kilmeena Team: Laura Kelly,Chloe McGing,Dearbhla Grealis, Laura Moore,Ava Ryder, Katie Hogan, Molly Moore, S Flynn, Lisa Rose,Dearbhla Feehan, Jamie Geraghty, Shannon Burke, Ciara Joyce, Susannah Horgan, Sarah McDonnell, Kelly Murray, Holly Barrett, Anna Moran,Aine Regan

Next Game is away to Kilmovee next Monday evening, come out and support the girls.
