THE most important game of the season so far will take place this Sunday in Parke.

The Kilmeena Senior team will take on Knockmore in a "do or die" relegation play off. Defeat will see Kilmeena playing Junior B Championship football next year!

Despite the disappointment of losing to Ballina, the lads should go into this game full of confidence from their outstanding league form. If they can perform as they did in the recent win against Achill, who were undefeated until facing Kilmeena, it should ensure we maintain our Junior status.

Apart from the Ballina game, the team has performed well and are creating chances in every game. Narrow defeats and not converting scoring opportunities have left us in this position. This team has the skill and they are good enough to win, they just need to perform on the day.
