Kilmeena put up a spirited fight against a talented Kilmoremoy team in the U14 Girls League Division 3 Semi-Final. Both sides played some very entertaining football on a glorious summers evening in Adrnaree. We wish Kilmoremoy all the best in the final. This was great preparation for the championship starting in July. Keep up the good work girls.

Ballaghadereen 3- 06 Kilmeena 1-10
Kilmeena lost out narrowly to Ballaghaderreen in the first round of the Junior Championship played on Saturday, May 31 in Kilmeena.
Kilmeena had most of the possession but some poor shooting in front of the goal and a failure to convert all our chances has now left the team with a battle in order to qualify from this group.
Photos will be uploaded shortly!
Congratulations to Carrowholly's Anthony Murray who just completed the An Post Rás cycling road race, finishing a fantastic 23rd in the general classification after eight tough of days of racing. Remarkably, he was the 2nd overall Irish rider in the Rás, finishing above most of the top domestic Irish riders and professionals. Anthony is currently based in Sydney and represented the Australia Team Subaru-Albion as he emigrated to Australia a few years ago.
Anthony mixed it with the top professional cyclists throughout the race and was involved in a few of the break away groups, and finished well up the field on every stage.
Well done from all at Kilmeena GAA Club it's some achievement.
