The Kilmeena under 14 girls put in a great performance against Moy Davitts yesterday Wednesday, April 29.

The team that lined out were: Laura Kelly, Dearbhla Grealis(Captain), Laura Moore, Katie Hogan, Nina Mathestine, Molly Moore, Jaimee Geraghty, Lisa Rose, Dearbhla Feehan, Regina Corcoran, Shannon Bourke, Sarah McDonald, Molly O'Donnell, Megan O'Malley, Ciara Joyce, Rachel Gibbons and Kelli Murray.
The under 14 girls will travel to Breaffy on Wednesday, May 6 for round 2 of the under 14 league.
An important club meeting will be held in the clubhouse on Tuesday 21/4/15 at 9 p.m.
Congratulations to the Kilmeena U-12 girl’s football team who played against Tourmakeady at half time in the National Football Division 1 league game between Mayo and Galway today at St. James' Park, Ballina.
The Kilmeena team were captained by Aoife Gibbons, who travelled back from Armagh this morning. All 17 girls who attended got the chance to play and display their skills at this prestigious event in the LGFA calendar. This was a great opportunity for the girls to showcase their ability and undoubted potential to wear the Green and Red in the future.
Kilmeena made their debut in the Ladies U16's Div 3 League against Kilmovee Shamrocks played in Kilmovee yesterday evening in glorious spring sunshine.The result wasn't what the Kilmeena girls might have hoped for with Kilmovee running out worthy winners. Nevertheless, both teams showed great spirit and determination, providing the attendance with an exciting and entertaining game of football. Historically, the records will show Rachel Keane, as the first girls captain, of the first ever U16's ladies team fielded by the Kilmeena GAA Club.
